Allan Findlay

M.S.W., R.S.W

Allan has worked in a variety of settings as a Counsellor, Manager and Consultant in both public and private sector organizations. He received a Masters degree in Social Work in 1982.

For the past 30 years he has been helping families, children, couples and groups in several Children's Mental Health Centres, EAPs, and his Private Practice. For eleven years he was a manager with responsibilities for staffing, supervision, project management, and budget. He has supervised and taught staff and graduate students and over the years have provided clinical consultations and presentations to many audiences.

Allan is effective in helping people manage change in any part of their personal or work life. He believes that by building on ones strengths and resiliencies, we can overcome our struggles. Teaching others what you know and striving to learn what you don’t has always been central to all aspects of his life. Allan joined Source Line in 2002 and is very pleased to be part of a very skilled and caring people.
